Conan the Barbarian #1 (2019) - Complete Cover Checklist
Conan comes full circle! After eighteen years, it makes a return to Marvel, its original U.S. publisher. Creator Jason Aaron (Thor, Doctor Strange) along with artist Mahmud Asrar (All-New X-Men) will be at the helm, and it is quite apparent the project is in the right hands. When asked about the upcoming project, writer Jason Aaron had this to say:
"I've literally been preparing for this job since I was 13 and discovered my first Robert E. Howard, Conan paperback in a used bookstore in my little hometown of Jasper, Alabama. I devoured every Howard book I could find after that, and I've been making up Conan stories in my head ever since."
With a massive following that spans nearly 100 years, Conan’s Marvel-ous return will no doubt be a massive win. Conan The Barbarian #1 hits shelves on January 2nd, 2019.
