In the 1980’s, there was one name that came to mind when you thought of the X-Men and Marvel’s Mutantverse, and that was Chris Claremont. Having written some of the most famous stories to ever grace the pages of the original mutant superhero squad, Claremont branched out and formed a new team… The New Mutants, which went on to evolve into X-Force. In this latest iteration of the superhero team, in a post X world, the New Mutants consist of Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Mirage, Karma, Magik, Cypher, Chamber, & Mondo. With their trademark youthful exuberance, and a bit of dark edge, and a mission that takes them into outer space (alongside the Starjammers), New Mutants is sure to bring a cool spin to the landscape with some great stories by Ed Brisson & Jonathan Hickman, and beautiful cover/internal art by Rod Reis.
The New Mutants #1 includes variant covers by such talented artists as Mark Bagley, Adi Granov, Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau, Nick Bradshaw, Javier Garron, & Derrick Chew.
You don’t need mutant abilities to know where the place to be is if you’re looking to track these gorgeous variant covers! Comic Burst has its own Cerebro to track them all down for you!
