Spawn Homage to Spider-man Covers - Todd McFarlane

Todd McFarlane is to comic books what brushes and paint are to an artist: essential. From his amazing run with Marvel and The Amazing Spider-Man, to his success in forming Image Comics, you can't talk about comic books without mentioning him. McFarlane has created some of the most iconic, breathtaking and memorable covers to multiple comic book titles over the years. The most talked about are far and away his work on The Amazing Spider-Man series, especially the set of covers #298-#301 that have been a comic book collectors “must have” for years now. #300 is still one of the most desired and purchased books on the market, with the mere mention of the title, exciting collectors. With such a legendary status and demand for his works, it comes as no surprise that McFarlane would pay respect to hist past fan favorite covers in his own incredibly popular series, Spawn. Fans have made these homages a smash hit, loving the nods to earlier works and the connection made between the two series.
