Synopsis X-Force captures Bishop and brings him back to the X-Men. Cyclops interrogates Bishop and Emma looks into his mind to try and discover the fate of Cable and the mutant baby. They find out that Cable is only able to move forward in time with little hope of returning to their present. Meanwhile, in the far future, Cable has settled into a domestic life, raising the mutant girl as his daughter, in the hidden city of New Liberty. Their peaceful existence is shattered, however, as U.S. troops break the barrier and invade.
