Synopsis Shadowhawk and Buddy take on a gang of gorillas that turn intangible while committing petty crimes. Shadowhawk and Squirrel track down the Hyena who has stolen an Expando-Ray that makes everyday household items (like pennies and typewriters) much larger. Shadowhawk tangles with the small-time villains, the Junkyard Dogz, but discovers later that their leader, Hotspur, is the son of a local don and has taken over the Scrapelli crime family. Rieves is so distraught about the return of Shadowhawk that he digs up Paul Johnstone to prove that he is still dead.
