Synopsis The writers give a look ahead at the rest of the "Superbooks", with preview art. Superman gives a question-and-answer session after testifying before congressional committees. A woman approaches, slaps him, and says that while he was off-planet, he was unable to help people like her husband, who died of a brain tumor that Superman could have easily fixed. In the days that follow, Superman ponders this, talking with Batman and Flash, and remembering back to wisdom from his foster father. He makes a decision, and starts walking. Superman hears about gunrunners in Gotham City. Dick Grayson has major geometry homework, but goes to train in the Batcave first, and then gets distracted by reports that the gunrunners are on the move. He sneaks out to confront them, but needs to be rescued by Superman (from both the gunrunners and the homework). Lois interrupts an operation by the Prankster and the Parasite, but is rescued by Superman. After they finish the job of rounding up the crooks and filing the story, they finally get to reunite after being apart for so long.
